Per tradition, our Cultural Exchange visitors from Argentina exchanged banners with our club. The tradition of visitors trading small club banners with their hosts goes back to 1913 when the Rotary Club of Galveston, Texas, first began doing this. By 1959, exchanging banners had become extremely popular with clubs worldwide. Rotary International has over 20,000 banners in their historical archives, including some that are handpainted or hand-sewn.
