Webster Groves Rotary has been shaped by members who brought their experience, friendships, families, and commitment to service into club life.
Women in Rotary
Rotary International opened membership to women in 1989. Webster Groves Rotary welcomed women into the club that year, and women have since served in club and district leadership while expanding the circle of people who serve through Rotary.
Families and generations
The club’s history includes fathers, sons, brothers, spouses, and other family connections. These relationships have helped carry the club’s traditions forward while each new generation finds its own ways to serve. In 2022, the club recognized a husband-and-wife membership milestone—one example of the family ties that are part of its story.
