Rotarians joined the Webster Groves Parks Department for an Arbor Day planting project at Shady Creek Nature Preserve.

Rotarians joined the Webster Groves Parks Department for an Arbor Day planting project at Shady Creek Nature Preserve. The larger effort planted approximately 150 trees; club members planted about 60.

Planting a stronger local canopy

The project included native trees and shrubs such as oaks, serviceberry, dogwood, river birch, pecan, and winterberry holly. The work brought club members and community partners together around a practical investment in the preserve.
