Clean Water in Uganda

A Field for Humanity water project is designed to reach 30,000 people.

A Rotary clean-water partnership in Uganda

Webster Groves Rotary joined Field for Humanity in support of clean and safe water access in Uganda’s Eastern and Albertine regions. The publicized project was designed to reach approximately 30,000 people.

Clean water supports an entire community

Reliable water affects health, time, education, and the work of a household. A nearby safe source can reduce exposure to waterborne illness and the hours families spend collecting water, especially for women and children.

The project reflects the way Rotary international service is intended to work: local knowledge identifies the need, partners contribute different experience and resources, and the work is shaped around a lasting community benefit. The 2025 story records the project’s publicized scope; it does not claim that every later phase is complete.
